A mediados de 2001, cuando fue reinagurada “Las Violetas”, ya era poco más que un recuerdo la confitería que nació en la primavera de 1884, en aquel Almagro de casas bajas, asomado al campo. Resultò imprescindible un trabajo de investigación histórico para llegar a la imagen inicial, modificada en 1920.

Mine Hotel Boutique – Sternberg Kohen Arquitectos
The commissioning of this study Boutique Hotel began from searching the lot on which the project was developed architecture and decoration. The building is situated on a somewhat unusual terrain in the city, with a typical 8.66 front but widening up to 15m deep, which proved very helpful for the project, allowing to have more perimeter walls. Beyond its size, we find a lot with a very “palermitana” image therein; medians of old bricks unplastered completely covered with vines, which were preserved and, above them, the view of the funds of the gardens and courtyards neighbors with the same configuration.
